Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the martial arts or horror categories. Her style and method is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies with a morbid fascination. After gaining some fame on the forums that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous handle Obscurus Lupa), she began to review films in the latter half of 2009. The channel remained part of the site from January until the beginning of 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts via her channel both covering the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows as well as occasional adult humor (including Baywatch (2017)). She began reviewing movies in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining fame in Channel Awesome forums. Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous shows on Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
